Open Conference

OPEN Conference is the international diversity conference for CEOs and HR, diversity, marketing and communications decision makers, as well as representatives of interest groups. It is the annual forum for current and future diversity champions to meet, learn and share.

OPEN Conference represents a unique approach in Central and Eastern Europe – and presumably beyond. Designed for business leaders, it deals with diversity as a whole, investigating a wide variety of topics such as LGBTQ people, women and ethnic minorities in the workplace.

Each year, over 200 delegated from around the world attend OPEN Conference, with at least 10% of them being CEOs or of equivalent designations. Representing more than 10 countries, these delegates bring insights and ideas, share challenges and help one another find solutions.

OPEN Conference aims to inspire positive change already in the short term – going beyond motivational and educational talks, we also organize corporate workshops to cooperate and find the best solutions for your organization. Participate in what is important for you, drive impactful conversations and trigger real action. In 2018, we pioneered the Children’s Corner – a specially designated zone for children of the attendees, with qualified caretakers, so parents may attend the Conference knowing their children are right there with them, in safe care. We will continue to innovate in an effort to make OPEN Conference accessible and open to all!

OPEN CONFERENCE 2018

OPEN Conference 2018’s theme was to establish how organizations can build competitiveness through openness. With participants from more than 10 countries, it brought a fresh and diverse perspective to the business case for being open.

OPEN CONFERENCE 2017

Building on the 1st edition, OPEN Conference 2017 focused on role models and tried to show through them how top-down and bottom-up initiatives can make a workplace more diverse thus more successful.

OPEN CONFERENCE 2016

2016 was the first year WeAreOpen organized OPEN Conference. It sought to lay out the business case for openness through talks, discussions and workshops and sought to make real change in the short term.
